1. Who we are
Premier Cars Surrey is a licensed private hire operator based in Godalming, Surrey. We are the data controller for the personal information we collect from you.
2. What we collect
- Name, email address, phone number
- Pickup, drop-off, journey dates and times, passenger/luggage counts
- Payment identifiers (Stripe customer ID, last-4 digits, card brand) — never your full card number
- Optional saved addresses and travel preferences
- Communications history (bookings, receipts, support messages)
- Device / IP data for security, fraud prevention and rate limiting
3. Why we use it
- Fulfilling and dispatching your journey (contractual necessity)
- Processing payments and issuing receipts (contractual necessity)
- Sending booking confirmations and service updates (contractual necessity)
- Marketing — only where you have opted in (consent)
- Fraud prevention, security auditing, complying with licensing obligations (legitimate interest / legal obligation)
4. Sharing
We share the minimum necessary data with our drivers (name, pickup, flight if relevant) and processors we rely on: Stripe (payments), Resend/Twilio (notifications), our hosting provider, and Supabase (database). No data is sold, and none is shared for advertising.
5. Retention
Booking records are retained for 7 years for tax and licensing purposes. Account data is retained while your account is active; you can request deletion at any time.
6. Your GDPR rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port or object to processing of your data. Email privacy@premiercarssurrey.co.uk — we respond within 30 days.
